Mini Magic

Just playing around with my minis....nothing more fun!

The terrarium is filled with greenery and echeveria from Keli.  Also inside is moss, rocks and sticks.  With spring upon us, I felt I needed a terrarium.

The cherry pie and pot came from Grandpas Doll House.  The baking suppies came from Paper Minis.

My table scape! The eucalyptus branches are from a kit.  I painted the grey art (right).  The finger is an Ikea gift tag sticker.  The two pieces of framed fine art were lapel pins in a former life.  The crystal skull came from The Royal Ontario Museum gift shop.

Blue pottery delights! The chair is Chrysnbon.  Wall art is Emily Carr made and framed by Harvey Tremeer.

Anna Maria inspired this setting with lots of the fun bits and bobs she sent me.  Those heart pillows...swoon!  I grabbed the Nintendo figures at Walmart.

And she continued to inspire me.  Her 2017 mini calendar needed a place of honor....

I'm in love with the backpack.  A recent purchase.  It's made from real suede by Canadian Jo-Ann Shaw (who also makes lots of beautiful items...including pottery!)

  1. Playing around with minis sounds like a perfect day to me. Love the terrarium idea. Much needed greenery on a grey day like we're having today :0)

    1. It's a nice sense of accomplishment when you can start and finish a small project like a terrarium in one evening...unlike most if my projects!

  2. Perfect timing! I was going through all my stuff as I was storing accessories in their new home, to find the book bag I got years ago is not up to current standards. I have inquired with your source for a backpack.

The echeveria look wonderfully cozy in the terrarium.

I got my note from Miss Kitty in the mail, it's hanging on my bulletin board. :D

  4. Looks like a great day! I miss not having anything set up just to play around with. Sometimes it's just build, build, build and all the fun stuff stays in boxes. It's so nice to see your collection and hear where it came from. Mini friends are the best :)

  5. Hi Kat, Another fine display of your Amazing Talents for creatively setting the scene! I love the terrarium which looks absolutely real! :))
A while back I purchased a lovely blue lidded casserole from Jo-Ann Shaw which I've tucked away till later, but I have to say you made a Good Investment with your purchase of her backpack because it fits in Perfectly with your desk scene; which by the way is very prettily painted! ♡
